The STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ trade fair block has begun - welcome to the Poznań International Fair!
Today marks the official start of the STONE trade fair block, BUDMA and INTERMASZ trade fairs officially begins, which for four days - from Tuesday to Friday - will turn the Poznań International Fair into a meeting place for key sectors: stone, construction, and architecture. This is a special moment for the entire natural stone industry - the first day of the STONE trade fair is just beginning.
We warmly welcome exhibitors, professional visitors, architects, designers, contractors, and experts from the stone and construction industries to the MTP grounds. Ahead of us are days filled with a substantive program of events, conferences, product premieres, and direct meetings with experts and market practitioners.
A substantive start on the very first day
Today, the trade fair program includes events devoted to current regulatory and technological challenges, as well as safety issues in construction. Particular attention is drawn to the specialized SCHRONTECH+ safety training course, which will be held as part of the BUDMA trade fair. The training is devoted to new technical requirements for protective construction, which will come into force on January 1, 2026, and the practical implementation of the provisions of the so-called shelter law, aimed at increasing the level of protection of the civilian population in crisis situations.
The BUDMA program also covers issues related to geodesy, the use of drones in construction, construction monitoring, transaction and construction market security, as well as presentations by public administration representatives on changes in regulations concerning construction products, contractor certification, and new EU regulations. The program is complemented by conferences on prefabrication, energy-efficient construction (EU30), fire safety, and the modernization of existing buildings, including large-panel buildings.
Official opening of the trade fair and Design and Architecture Forum
At 11:00 a.m., the main stage will host the official opening of the STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ trade fairs, combined with the award ceremony for the winners of the MTP Gold Medal and Acanthus Aureus competitions.
At 12:30 p.m., the Design and Architecture Forum (D&A Forum) will open - day 1.
The forum will be welcomed by the host, Jakub Głaz, who will present the idea and program of the event. The opening guest lecture will be “The Social Value of Architecture. Polish Architecture Congress,” delivered by Piotr Gadomski (IARP).
STONE – a space for knowledge, relationships, and integration
The STONE trade fair, held as part of a joint block with BUDMA and INTERMASZ, is not only an exhibition of natural stone, technology, and solutions for architecture, but also a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and building business relationships. On the first day of the event, the program will culminate in an industry evening, which, in addition to contracting, will create a space for integration and conversation in a less formal atmosphere.
