The second, incredibly intense day of the STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ trade fairs is behind us
The second day of the STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ trade fair block has come to a close. From the early morning hours, the pavilions were filled with exhibitors and trade visitors, and by midday, we counted several thousand participants actively taking advantage of the rich program of events.
Just like the first day, the fairgrounds bustled with activity today. Day two was defined by conferences, lectures, presentations, substantive discussions, debates, product premieres, and face-to-face meetings with market experts and practitioners.
What happened on day two?
The program for the second day of the trade fair block included, among others:
- WIN_DOOR POLAND Joinery Forum, dedicated to the current development perspective of the construction joinery industry – a space for owners, managers, and company leaders thinking about expansion and long-term development strategies.
- The premiere event of the Interior Design Salon – Lighting Design Event "LightON7 Lighting Design in Interior Architecture," co-organized with ATRIA Sztuka Światła, addressed to architects, interior designers, and investors.
- The Center for Wood and Wooden Structures at WULS-SGGW, realized in cooperation with the Association of Energy-Efficient Ready-Made Houses – a response to the growing needs of timber construction in Poland.
- A special demonstration zone featuring technological presentations and demos, organized in cooperation with the Polish Parquet Layers Association.
- Day 1 of the 5th Scientific and Technical Conference "Fire Safety of Construction Objects," covering changes in technical conditions for buildings, as well as the design, execution, and acceptance of protective structures.
- The "Prefabricated Construction in Residential and Development Investments" Conference, providing a space for discussions on the practical use of prefabrication in housing projects – both commercial and those realized in cooperation with local governments.
- Design and Architecture Forum (D&A Forum) – Day 2, continuing discussions on contemporary architecture, urban planning, and responsible design.
Archi-Strada – Architecture, Aesthetics, and Responsibility
The second day also featured an extremely rich program on the ARCHI-STRADA stage:
- Lecture by special guest Maciej Jakub Zawadzki (LURE/MJZ): "When aesthetics become a decision" – a personal story about changing design perspectives and aesthetics as a real investment value.
- Presentations dedicated to the aesthetics of walls, works, and facades – Arkadiusz Armacki and Łukasz Paderewski (TONALITY, Leipfinger Bader).
- Debate as part of the Congress of Polish Architecture 2026 – 12 important conversations about architecture.
- Lecture by Oskar Grąbczewski (OVO Grąbczewscy) regarding revitalization, reuse, and recycling based on the example of the KTBS housing complex in Katowice.
- Speech by Maciej Miłobędzki (JEMS Architekci).
- Lecture by Marta Sękulska-Wrońska (WXCA): "Beauty as the fundamental quality of architecture."
- Debate "Public must be beautiful" – dedicated to the value of aesthetics in residential architecture.
