The first day of the STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ trade fair cluster has come to an end. Since the early morning hours, the pavilions of the Poznań International Fair (MTP Poznan Expo) were filled with exhibitors, trade visitors, architects, designers, contractors, and experts from the stone and construction industries.

Day one of STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ was marked by substantive events, conferences, product premieres, and direct meetings with experts and market practitioners. The program covered issues related to current regulatory and technological challenges, as well as safety in construction.

Grand Opening

The official opening took place at 11:00 AM on the main stage, combined with the awards ceremony for the MTP Group Gold Medal laureates and the presentation of the Acanthus Aureus statuettes.

During the ceremony, speeches were delivered by representatives of ministries, central and local government authorities, and key institutions related to the construction and industrial markets. Speakers included the President of the MTP Group, the Mayor of Poznań, the Chief Labor Inspector, as well as representatives of the surveying, construction, infrastructure, and engineering sectors, who emphasized the importance of industry dialogue, quality, safety, and innovation.

Jubilee awards were also presented to companies and partners who have been contributing to the development of the trade fairs and the entire industry for years. The culminating moment of the ceremony was the symbolic ribbon-cutting, officially inaugurating the BUDMA, STONE, and INTERMASZ 2026 fairs.

BUDMA Fair Program

Particular attention was drawn to the specialized SCHRONTECH+ training, held as part of the BUDMA fair. The training was dedicated to new technical requirements for protective construction, which will enter into force on January 1, 2026, as well as the practical implementation of the provisions of the so-called "Shelter Act," aimed at increasing the level of civil protection in crisis situations.

The BUDMA program also covered topics related to surveying, the use of drones in construction, structural health monitoring, transaction security, and the construction market. It also featured presentations by public administration representatives regarding changes in regulations for construction products, contractor certification, and new EU regulations. This was complemented by conferences dedicated to prefabrication, energy-efficient construction (EU30), fire safety, and the modernization of existing buildings, including large-panel structures.
