Report on the Convention of the National Association of Manufacturers of Stone Products
During the Ordinary Convention of the National Association of Stone Products Manufacturers, held at the end of May in Stronie Śląskie, Poznań International Fair was officially accepted as a supporting member. Hanna Lisiecka, Director of the STONE Fair, participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of industry cooperation and presenting the plans for the new format of the STONE 2026 fair.
From May 29 to 31, in the picturesque Puchaczówka Hotel in Stronie Śląskie, the Ordinary Convention of the National Association of Stone Products Manufacturers took place. Hanna Lisiecka, Director of the STONE Fair, also attended the event, representing Poznań International Fair, and received the prestigious membership certificate as a supporting member of the association.
In her speech, Director Hanna Lisiecka highlighted that the new edition of the STONE fair – organized jointly with BUDMA and INTERMASZ fairs – offers a unique opportunity for joint promotion of Polish stone and domestic companies. She stressed that this cooperation opens new perspectives for the industry: from reaching an international audience of investors and architects, through showcasing stone in the context of sustainable development, to exchanging experiences and knowledge with leaders of the construction and infrastructure markets. She also noted that STONE 2026 is not only a space for product exhibition but also a platform for building business relationships, education, and promoting stone as a durable, aesthetic, and future-proof material.
Since the inception of the Association, our institutions have maintained mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at supporting the development of the stone industry in Poland and promoting Polish products on the international stage. Past activities include organizing industry events such as the Stone Industry Congress in 2023 and 2024, the Experts’ Advice Zone, and the Stone Conservation and Renovation Zone in 2024, all focused on exchanging knowledge and experiences.
During the convention, plans for the near future were discussed, including the upcoming edition of the STONE fair, scheduled for February 3–6, 2026. As part of the collaboration, we plan an intensive promotion of Polish companies and stones to more effectively showcase the potential of our sector both domestically and internationally. The joint efforts aim to increase the recognition of Polish stone products and support producers in reaching new markets.
We are proud of our long-term cooperation and look forward to further joint initiatives that will contribute to the development of the stone industry in Poland and the promotion of our products on the international market.
