Official opening of the STONE, BUDMA, and INTERMASZ 2026
The official opening ceremony of the STONE, BUDMA and INTERMASZ 2026 trade fair block is behind us, symbolically began four days of industry meetings at the Poznań International Fair. The event brought together representatives of key communities related to construction, stonemasonry, architecture, infrastructure, and engineering, emphasizing the importance and interdisciplinary nature of this unique trade fair block.
During the ceremony, speeches were given by representatives of the ministerial community, central and local authorities, as well as representatives of the most important institutions related to the construction and industrial market. Speakers included the President of the Grupa MTP, the Mayor of Poznań, the Chief Labor Inspector, as well as representatives of the surveying, construction, infrastructure, and engineering communities, who emphasized the importance of industry dialogue, safety, quality, and innovation in modern construction.
An integral part of the ceremony was the award ceremony for the MTP Gold Medal Competition, one of the most prestigious awards given to innovative products and solutions presented at the fair. The winners of the Acanthus Aureus award were also honored. This award is given for the best-designed and prepared exhibition stands that stand out in terms of aesthetics, functionality, and quality of communication with visitors.
During the event, jubilee awards were also presented in recognition of companies and partners who have been contributing to the development of the fair and the entire industry for many years.
The highlight of the ceremony was the symbolic cutting of the ribbon, which officially opened the BUDMA, STONE, and INTERMASZ 2026 trade fairs. This gesture was a clear signal of the start of the next edition of the events, which over the next few days will be a space for the exchange of knowledge, presentation of market innovations, and establishing business relationships.
