Countdown to STONE 2024 Stone Fair begins

Ahead of us is the next edition of the STONE Stone Fair - industry innovation, high level of content and favorable conditions for cooperation - we start the countdown to the 2024 edition.

The future of stonemasonry, or the evolution of the STONE Fair

The STONE Fair, held November 22-24, 2023, hosted nearly 120 exhibitors from 13 countries, with nearly 2,500 industry professionals attending the event. Participants, had the opportunity to take part in both the fair and the first edition of the Stone Industry Congress, organized by the MTP Group - the organizer of the STONE fair in cooperation with the All-Poland Association of Manufacturers of Stone Products and the Polish Stonemasonry Association. Last year's STONE Fair pointed out the most important directions for the development of the industry, as well as becoming a key point of reference for the organization of the next edition, opened a perspective on the subject of health and safety in stone factories and the promotion of the stonemason's profession, in which the Polish Stonemasonry Association was involved along with the STONE Fair. Thanks to the Marmur Płytki company, vocational school students had the opportunity to try their hand at processing Pińczów limestone. The promotion of the profession was also enhanced by the presence of Lubosz Karwat's Studio of Artistic Craftsmanship, whose artist not only presented selected mosaics from his latest collection, but also conducted a workshop on mosaic laying and conservation. The opening of last year's edition was honored by the presence of Indian Ambassador Nagma Mohamed Mallick, who appeared at the event representing India as a STONE Fair Partner Country.

What will be happening at the STONE 2024 Stone Fair?

The STONE Fair team has already started working on the program for the upcoming edition. One of the key issues for 2024 will be knowledge and modern approaches in the field of stone restoration and conservation. The event will feature numerous workshops and thematic panels in cooperation with partners. Speeches will be given by renowned speakers and experienced practitioners. You will be able to put the knowledge you gain into practice during the workshops, learning about the latest equipment and product developments. The thematic panel led by specialists will be addressed not only to the stone industry, but also to designers, architects and conservators. For the first time, a networking zone will be organized - a space to exchange experiences and make business contacts.

The STONE fair exhibition includes market novelties, the latest technologies, blocks, semi-finished products and chemistry. This year's edition of the fair will highlight finished stone products in a prepared inspiration zone - finished products will be presented alongside the exposition of stone manufacturers.

The partner of this year's Stone fair is iZFAS, the Turkish organizer of one of the largest stone fairs in the world - Marble Izmir Fair, which, from April 17-20, 2024, featured 1014 exhibitors from 20 countries (Germany, America, U.A.E., Belgium, China, Denmark, South Korea, India, England, Iran, Spain, Italy, Japan, Qatar, Egypt, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Greece). The fair was visited by 60,698 people from 125 countries, including 8,277 foreigners. The cooperation with IZFAS will result in a large representation of Turkish exhibitors at Stone in November in Poznan. This opens new horizons for the Stone Fair concept, but especially for stone companies, facilitating international cooperation and exchange of experience.
