Another day of an intensive programme is now behind us, once again confirming that STONE is not only a platform for presenting market offerings, but also an important forum for substantive discussion for the stone, construction, architectural and urban planning sectors.

The third day of the STONE, BUDMA and INTERMASZ trade fair block is now part of history. From the early morning hours, the grounds of the Poznań International Fair were once again filled with industry experts. Conversations at exhibition stands, lectures on stages, live demonstrations and product premieres created a dynamic space for the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Urban planning, light and the future of cities

One of the key events of the third day was the 18th Urban Planner’s Day – “POGubieni”, held as part of the BUDMA trade fair. The meeting focused on current challenges in spatial planning and urban development, and the topics discussed became an important voice in the debate on the future of Polish and European agglomerations.

At the same time, the premiere edition of the Lighting Design Event within the Interior Design Salon continued. This unique platform for dialogue brought together architects, interior designers and investors, focusing on lighting design in interior architecture, modern lighting technologies and intelligent light control in private and commercial spaces.

ARCHI-STRADA – an international architecture stage

The third day also delivered a particularly strong programme on the ARCHI-STRADA stage. Special interest was generated by presentations from international experts associated with the Marmomac brand – Gianni Simonelli and Paolo Marone. Their lectures on natural stone, modern technologies and sustainable development in architecture perfectly reflected the interdisciplinary character of the event.

Technologies, standards and safety

The programme of the third day also included numerous events dedicated to key technological, regulatory and safety-related issues in construction. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the presentation of the new EU30 standard – a unified energy-efficient single-family house standard – as well as to attend roofing demonstrations carried out in cooperation with the Polish Parquet Installers Association.

The 5th Scientific and Technical Conference “Fire Safety of Building Structures” continued, addressing current regulations, design responsibility and challenges related to building safety. Another important highlight of the day was the EU30 Conference – Unified Energy-Efficient Single-Family House Standard, as well as a debate on the aestheticisation of architecture and urban spaces, focusing on the quality of public spaces and future development directions for Polish cities.

The final day of the trade fair block ahead

The third day of the STONE trade fair once again confirmed the strong interest in topics related to natural stone, architecture, technology and responsible design. We would like to thank all exhibitors, speakers and participants for their active involvement and inspiring discussions.

The final day of the STONE, BUDMA and INTERMASZ trade fair block is still ahead of us.
